My name is Kazmyn, and I've been a songwriter for as long as I can remember. I don't come from a line of musicians, but I have been raised to consider the intentions behind my words, and I think that's a big reason I started making music. I'm self-taught on guitar, piano, dulcimer, banjolele and ukulele, but at the heart of it all, I am a storyteller. My main goal with music and every interaction I have is to reach people who feel as though they have stories to be told. Life is funny in this way, as I tend to write extremely vulnerable lyrics that exactly align with so many people's own experiences. If music isn't bringing people together and creating a shared space/connection, then what is it doing? I hope whomever you are, and wherever you are, you find my words equally comforting and relatable. I hope that they evoke emotions in you that spark conversations, and remind you how interconnected we all are within the human experience.
